Primary function:

Responsibilities:


*Participate in new oil field production commissioning and startup.

*Assist in collecting and summarizing chemical information and report in time.

*Ensure the worksite cleanliness and safety is maintained.

*Assist in coordinating and supervising chemical related contractor onsite work.

*Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.


Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related Engineering Fields.

*At least 0-2 years’ work experience is preferred with Oil & Gas industry background.


Knowledge:

*Knowledge of chemistry.

*Knowledge of petroleum, oil and gas treatment.

About ERA:


The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is a statutory body established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1999 (Chapter 145, Laws of Uganda). The Act empowers ERA to regulate the Generation, Transmission, Sale, Export, Import and Distribution of electrical energy in Uganda.


 


Job Summary: The Office Assistant will provide cleaning and equipment management services to promote, maintain cleanliness, orderliness and proper hygiene within ERA premises in line with the Human Resource and Administration Department guidelines


 


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


*Allocate cleaning roles to service providers on a daily basis in line with the given agreement.

*Provide and use a checklist for distributing sanitary items in ERA premises in line with the given agreement

*Provide and use a checklist for maintaining ERA compound in line with the given agreement

*Open and close windows at the end of every working day.

*Take care of the safety of staff and control ERA’s expenditure by switching off electrical appliances in open areas every day as by given regulations.

*Handle photocopying activities when called upon to do so

*Dispatch internal correspondences within the given timelines.

*Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the supervisor or Management.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:


The applicant must hold a Uganda Certificate of Education

A minimum of three years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization.

Should be below 35 years of age.
